As an answer to Honda's CBR1000RR Fireblade & CB1000R superbikes Yamaha has decided to launch their superbike Yamaha FZ1 in India.It was expected that the bike will hit Indian roads by late this year or early next year.The bike with a finelook and high performance belongs to the naked class.

The 998cc super bike uses 4-stroke, Forward-inclined parallel 4-cylinder, DOHC engine which is capable of pumps a max power output of 148 Bhp @ 11000 rpm and a peak torque of 106 Nm @ 8000 rpm.The bike has 6 gear transmission facility.
