German automaker Volkswagen recently announced that they are planning to launch one of their greatest hits Volkswagen Golf in India.Volkswagen Golf was the first Htchback to be released by the company in India.It was expected that the car will hit India by end of 2009 or early 2010.

The Volkswagen Golf is a compact car/small family car manufactured by Volkswagen since 1974 and marketed worldwide across six generations, in various body configurations and under various nameplates.Its the greatest successful car the company has ever built.

The new Golf looks quiet similar to theIt looks quite similar to the previous model.The new technologies offered includes automatic distance control,new touch-screen satellite navigation system, similar to the one available in the Tiguan compact AWD,park steering assistant that parks the car for you, and the adaptive chassis control that can change the car's attitude from stiff and sporty to soft and comfy in seconds.

Expected price for Volkswagen Golf: Rs. 5-7 lakhs.
